★★★★★ Extremely versatile, quick pre-heat, space-saving
Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2024This appliance is a main staple in my cooking routine now - it is extremely versatile, easy to use, easy to clean, and space-saving. The only mode I've not used is dehydrate. It's simple enough for my teen son to use - and clean up after himself (!) when he wants a quick snack.
Aside from the fact that I don't have to lug this out of a storage cabinet (like I did with my older and bulkier and heavier air fryer), my favorite aspect of this is the fast time to pre-heat.
Our regular oven doesn't work, so we were using our convection microwave for oven things. It was taking up to 10 minutes to pre-heat the convection oven, where the Ninja takes less than a minute for most settings.
The Ninja is wider than our microwave and just as tall inside, giving me more cooking opportunities. I have had to adjust the cook time on a few things, as it works faster than our convection oven, but that's a small price to pay for such a well-designed unit. This would be great for apartments.
I recommend getting the tray liners, as they are great for catching drips, making cleanup even easier. Just.Plain.Awesome.

Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2024I've had mine for about 4 months now from this writing. Mostly use it to make Frozen Pizza, but I did bake chicken once, Well pieces of chicken and I air fried some fries, and it did well.
I haven't made that much of a mess, so I haven't tried cleaning it yet,. I use the seer pan as an additional catch tray., but I don't think it would be to hard to clean.
You have to adjust timing on your cooking. For example if the box on the Pizza says bake at 400 for 23 minutes, I'd set it for 15, and even then I'd watch it cause it bakes much faster than a conventional oven. That's good though, cause you don't have to wait as long to eat.
I'd give it a higher rating, and probably deserves a score of 5, but I only had it for 4 months, so I can't say if it's a good long term investment or not, but so far I really like it.

★★★★☆ Great appliance but nonstick fails quickly
Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2024I love this ninja air fryer and mini oven! I use it at least three nights a week.
Perfect size for sheet pan meals, and between the fast preheat and the convection oven (air roast setting) it cooks in a LOT less time than the regular oven.
BUT it only took about six months for the nonstick coating on the sear plate to start getting sticky.Now, just a year into owning it, it’s not nonstick at all. I have to soak the sear plate for half an hour in the sink to loosen up the stuck foods and the burnt-on black stains just won’t budge. I can’t find a replacement anywhere, not even on the Ninja Foodi website.
