I was told from day one of my lessons that you can go with cheap brushes, even paint, but always go with good paper. Not having much money and going through lots of practice paper, I went with cheaper papers. Now that I am painting more seriously, I figured to get at better grade paper and this was often a favorite by the instructor. Oh, my goodness, it is more expensive, but so worth it. I love this paper and the glued block feature is great. I know I should try other types of paper eventually, but for now this is my favorite watercolor paper.
