Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2023I was introduced to Bee watercolour paper by an artist after trying “Paul Rubens” and “Baohong”. “Bee” is absolutely a more professional quality paper. I bought an art journal few years ago and loose paper pack this purchase. But find the two are of different qualities. Loose paper is of less texture and lifting is less accommodating. Paper is easier be damaged by number of lifting whilst art journal can stand up to even 10 lifting, paper still in very good condition.

It's not a good as the more expensive paper but it works fine as a fairly new watercolor artist. I would definitely purchase it again for painting smaller paintings.

I have done wet on wet, wet on dry, and it performs beautifully. No pilling, you can stretch it, but it is not necessary to achieve a great painting. I would definitely recommend if you want great paper without breaking the bank.

Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2023I really enjoy this Bee paper as it’s small enough for a simpler project but not too small to make detail work difficult.
I used to buy this paper at Michael’s and loved it then. They no longer sell this line so it’s great to find it on Amazon.
The paper does have a learning curve. It is extremely dry paper so takes some getting used to/learning how to blend on thirsty paper while also being careful not to flood it.
At approximately 40 cents a sheet and 100% cotton, this durable paper is a fantastic deal. Highly recommended.
