A built-in stage-position lever lifts easily to convert the car seat base from Stage 1 to Stage 2 with one motion. In this Stage 2 position, the seat offers extended legroom and more upright, spacious seating for growing toddlers.
- In Stage 1, the Chicco Fit2 functions like a traditional rear-facing infant car seat. It offers more reclined seating with removable head and body support, As a result, the seat can accommodate newborns and smaller infants from birth to 12 months.
- In Stage 2, the Fit2 easily transitions into a rear-facing toddler car seat, offering a more mature seating position for toddlers from 9 to 24 months. How do I clean my Chicco Fit 2 ?
- Use mild soap and water to spot clean the Fabric. Or it may be machine washed in cold water on a delicate cycle using mild detergent. In addition, remember to attach the hook and loop parts together before washing. Hang to dry. DO NOT BLEACH.
- To clean the harness, sponge clean using warm water and mild soap; air dry. Do not machine wash the harness.

Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 20204 time mom, getting the seat ready for the new baby after our last used it. I’m disappointed in how well the fabric held up. It is covered in snags and pilling! Used a razor to remove them and it left a weird shading. The warning labels have been half way washed off after only 2 total washes ever.
For the price I expected it to be able to look nice after the last kid! Also it is a lot heavier to carry around than the keyfit we used with my older kids. Had I known this we would have just gone with the keyfit again.
