What Some Customers Say About Their Experience with Derwent Inktense Pencils Reviews
Derwent Inktense Pencils Review | How is the color quality and light fastness of this watercolor ink pencil set? Is it easy to use?
★★★★★ A whole different medium
Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2024Look at this comparison between two cheaper watercolor pencils vs inktense. Does not even compare! inktense is literally brighter than a marker when blended. And the color does stay when you work on layers,, no lifting! if you combine inktense with water-based markers, you can get bright colors and perfect blending which is superior to copic in my opinion (less stinky, no dry markers, and more familiar workflow).
there is only one weakness to intense. you wont really find pretty pastel colors in the set. Some of the pastel colors in my anime drawing are from the cheaper pencil, so inktense is more for getting those brighter blends.
★★★★★ Love these pencils
Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2024These pencils are so awesome. The colors are vibrant. I did find several videos online about how to use them because they are a little different than other watercolor pencils. I was also cautioned by some videos/articles that they can be easily broken so these are definitely a product to care for. But I would absolutely by them again.
★★★★☆ Pretty Decent Watercolor Pencils
Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2024These have a good degree of pigmentation. I would suggest adding a blender pencil to the pack. They make watercolor painting nice.
