Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2024I have owned this humidifier for nearly three years, and it was very easy to set up and connect to the app. I've only changed the settings maybe three times in that period, and it has definitely helped humidify my bedroom. I only run it while I sleep.
However, I am giving it three stars for the same reason many others have: the Levoit 300S humidifier has become impossible to clean thoroughly, and it looks disgusting. I have read that the type of water used can impact cleanliness; I've used both tap water and bottled water over the years. I've tried cleaning parts with vinegar and even put the tub in my dishwasher. While these steps helped somewhat, the machine would become filthy again within a few days...

I like that the misting function doesnt cause water droplets to fall to the floor (on the highest setting) like some small diffusers I have. Its okay to clean, following their instructions, but there are certain pieces that are nearly impossible to clean well.
