‘ DJ USA is recalling 2019-2021 Maxi-Cosi Pria 70 designed for use with children to 70 pounds, as well as the Pria85 and Pria 85 Max car seats, designed for use for children weighing up to 85 pounds.
When the seat is installed in the forward-facing position and secured to the vehicle using the lap belt without also using the top tether, the seat may not adequately protect the child from a head injury in the event of a crash.
There have been no injuries or incidents reported related to this condition. Using this car seat in both the rear-facing mode and forward-facing modes for children up to 65 pounds or 49 inches can continue to be used according to all labeled installation methods. ‘

Rear Facing Height Limit
The below are important information to know before using the rear-facing car seat.
NOTE* : There is a Maxi Cosi Pria 70 rear facing height limit consideration. Rear-facing car seat should be used only for a rear-facing child who is no taller than 40 inches. The child’s weight should be between 9-40 lbs.
The Pria 70 is designed to fit infants as small as 9 pounds (for many infants, this is birth weight). This car seat can be used all the way up to toddlers of 40 pounds, rear facing.
(If you have a preemie or plan to use this seat from birth and tend to have smaller babies, I’d suggest checking out the Pria 70 with Tiny Fit insert, which you can use for babies as small as 4 pounds.)
